Very quickly I realized the answer to that question was absolutely yes. Just look at Boeing whistle blowers. Killing for profit or ideological preference are absolutely the domain of capitalism. The fact that murder is illegal seems to not matter very much. 595 Reply 33 replies @YaBoiHakim 1 month ago (edited) This video covers a wide range, but by no means all, CIA assassinations. These ones are just particularly blatant and are illustrative examples. Two figures (Mossadegh and Arbenz) were planned for execution but the coups were so successful that it wasn't necessary in the end. Other figures were allied with the US, only for the US to show them what that friendship was worth in the end. To quote the demon Kissinger, "It may be dangerous to be America's enemy, but to be America's friend is fatal." Sources in the pinned comment as always. 710 Reply 17 replies @pottedrodenttube 1 month ago It should be required education for Americans to study the true history of their country and their "intelligence" agencies. 211 Reply 9 replies @Acidfunkish 1 month ago Man, YouTube censors comments almost as much as the US redacts its history. 484 Reply 23 replies @minacapella8319 4 weeks ago Just so everyone is clear, hakim is not suicidal. And start with the often under discussed Gough Whitlam. Australia is barely a real country, America treats us as just another part of them, and the only time we tried pursuing independent foreign policy the CIA used arcane remnants of the British monarchy to have our PM couped. 120 Reply 7 replies @buckyhate7695 1 month ago I know that CIA assassinations have continued unabated, but it amazes me how so many were in such a short amount of time. Kissinger and Nixon were absolute ghouls. 48 Reply @jackbottomly4420 1 month ago JFK was strongly against killing Diem. After it happened, JFK was very shaken and he adamantly restated that he was going to end the CIA and scatter it's parts to the wind. 34 Reply 3 replies @Oxfist 1 month ago (edited) Important CLARIFICATION on Allende: even though the role of the CIA and Kissinger are very well documented and depicted by Hakim in this video, the historical, undisputed consensus in Chile is that Allende unalived himself in La Moneda. Neither the coup plotters nor the CIA got to the point of directly assassinating him, Allende didn't allow them to, and that's generally viewed as a heroic act of sacrifice from Allende in the face of imperialist power, through the treason of the army's top brass, toppling the government. I've seen several recollections of the coup outside of Chile incorrectly state that Allende was shot by the military. He was not. So it's an important clarification to make. 82 Reply 15 replies @joesanpatricio794 1 month ago The fact that 90%+ people in the US have no clue what evil is done in their name is a testament to the power of propaganda. I think my country is one of the most thoroughly indoctrinated populations on earth. It’s so frustrating. I wish we were at a place where serious political organizing were possible but it’s a major challenge to arouse even the slightest sense of class consciousness and solidarity, so inoculated against it are the people here. I’m much more optimistic about the prospect of supporting movements in the “global periphery” toward leaving the US sphere of influence in hopes of their regaining control of their resources, markets, etc. Thank you @yaboihakim for all your hard work, you and the Deprogram crew are a constant inspiration and reminder that I’m not alone 356 Reply 54 replies @JIJCrow 1 month ago Thomas Sankara is remembered today in Africa and we mourn his incredible loss everyday because he demonstrated that Africa can be the utopia it is meant to be 114 Reply @zolabs 4 weeks ago No wonder they don't like teaching history in their schools. 16 Reply @vedantmahajan6323 1 month ago 'Every Leader The US Has Assassinated' also referred to as some of the most based leaders in history 514 Reply 47 replies @tlakuikani4790 1 month ago You forgot Kennedy. 66 Reply 3 replies @aby110 1 month ago American capitalists: Socialism is gonna fail on its own ! (In Fact, since 1785, we have been involved, for 231 years, in some kind of war. And this wars, against all varieties of nations. From going against the Sultan of Morocco, to invading the tiny island of Grenada, 1983. Well, this means that in our entire history, we have only had 17 years of peace, and even fewer, cuz here the almost 5 years of our Civil War (Union/Confed 1861‒1865), are Not counted, since this war was not with another country, but against us. And the wars against the Native Nations of America either are not counted, for the same reason). Anyway: We fought against 29 countries. We have "Grown" 711 the size of our territory from the original 13 colonies. Our Economic, Political and Military development was established thanks to the Piracy, the Slavery, to the Looting, the Massacres, the Opium Trade or Cocaine Traffic, the indiscriminate sale of weapons on a global scale, and, the Weakness of many abused sovereign nations. We have provoked with total impunity, 12 Genocides and 9 Massacres, ‒inside and outside our own borders‒, and Assassinations of Gov’t. Leaders, Coups d'État and Economic Blockades in 6 UN member nations. Between 1947 and 1989, the US tried to change other nations gov’ts 73 times. It includes 66 covert Ops. And 7 overt ones. Who authorizes us to violate all International Laws and enter any country to ABUSE them? What's so "Proud" about being a nation of Looters and Criminals? ** In this writing, the participation of the United States in WWI, and in WWII, including the atomic bombings, is omitted, cuz in these two cases, they are NOT Invasions, Looting or Interference. On the other hand, all the other ABUSES described here do count as unjustified criminal acts of the United States against the world. 6 Reply @aboyaser5608 1 month ago How is this video not at least 7 hours long? 29 Reply 4 replies @2hpp 1 month ago Was Fred Hampton in this? The US has slaughtered far, far more than these, and they had begun doing so (particularly in the Americas) long before even WW2 or the cold war. Also, an idea for another video in a similar vein- it would be cool if you did a (comprehensive) video of every secular leader and government the US has played a role in assassinating or overthrowing in the Islamic world... (Mossadegh, Sukarno, Gaddafi, Najibullah, Saddam, recently Imran Khan and Sheikh Hasina, their current attempts with Assad, the suspicions about deaths like those of Nasser, the Arab Spring, etc) 34 Reply 3 replies @cheungchingtong 1 month ago And these are just leaders, how many public unknown figures were there. 29 Reply @QazwsEdx-c7p 3 weeks ago You forgot about Kennedy 4 Reply @relatedtojfk4890 1 month ago You forgot one. 25 Reply 3 replies @Scary1ibera1 11 days ago I like the deliberate usage of the word “regime” to describe the US presidents like how the average US history lesson treats all conmunist countries as “regimes” 1 Reply @DibbzTV 1 month ago Before I even watch, Hakim is not suicidal. He was in the midst of a peace agreement with the PLO at the time, and his death directly brought the rise of Binyamin Netanyahu who replaced him and sabotaged the Oslo Agreement. Netanyahu was a relative unknown just a few years before the assassination and emerged on the political scene seemingly from nowhere. Even his fellow party members were blindsided by him. In my theory he is a CIA recruit. The name “Hus” is the word for “goose” in the Czech language and Jan Hus was a provacative Swedish mercenary force (this ambiguous phrasing how you avoid even trying to remember the specific factional warring lol) eventually captured and "cooked". A priest who watched the execution reported that before Hus died, he said, “You can cook this goose but within a century a swan shall arise who will prevail." A century later, Martin Luther saw himself as the fulfillment of Hus’ prophecy when he nailed his 95 theses to the door of the castle church and launched the Protestant Reformation. As the flames wrapped around Hus’ body, instead of screams of agony, the people heard singing. In the midst of his pain, Jan Hus was singing praises to God as he entered into eternal glory. Reply @dogomage9003 1 month ago not as many as i thought tbh Reply @Ubusa2006 1 month ago 8:23 When talking about Chile you argue that Pinochet was this horrible dictator but he actually helped the country a lot more than people from outside the country think. Most people that lived through both Pinochet and Allende (like my grandpa) will tell you how horrible it was to live under Allende, how many people died of hunger and how it was basically like modern day Cuba. On the other hand if you ask them about Pinochet they’ll tell you how he saved our country with his economic policies, reduced inflation and set the stage for Chile’s long term growth. To add on although he did a coup d’eta he later gave the government away with a fair election called el Si y el No. Which he only lost by 3%. If he was a dictator like people paint him to be he would’ve done the same thing Maduro just did a few weeks ago (he faked the elections). On the other side, yes Pinochet was a dictator because he took power by force and killed many of his opposition but we have to remember people were able to protest against him without being killed, and he even gave many people the choice to leave the country if they didn’t like how he handled it. My mom protested a bunch as a teenager against him cuz she used to think he was bad. Now more than ever Chileans want him back because of how much insecurity has skyrocketed and our economy went from being the best in South America to being just an average South American economy. Maybe without the embargoes the US put against Allende our country would’ve been like the average socialist country but it would’ve never been the best country in South America like it was economically, politically and socially just a few years ago. Can we defend the actions Pinochet took to stabilize the country? As a Catholic I wouldn’t, because I think murdering people is never the answer. But we have to admit how much he actually helped Chile, something that Allende would’ve never achieved with his socialist policies. He would’ve probably ended up like every socialist and communist leader, which is with a horrible economy and a totalitarian government. Because of this we have to conclude that Pinochet was a positive influence for Chile. 1 Reply 6 replies @sergioalcantar3290 1 month ago Interesting content from a lackluster voice. This is how you always need to vote: We must fully criticize and always vote against (& less authoritarian than) both the Republican and Democratic Parties- including Kamala Harris, AOC, all of the squad, Bernie Sanders, Edward Markey, Mark Pocan, the justice democrats, & all other democrats. Vote in every single election- at all levels. And also endorse or anti-endorse, in all elections you can, for outside your voting jurisdiction. For all public positions. And this same strategy applies against the one or more party-monopolies in all countries worldwide. Real progressives will never be Democratic Members or Democratic loyalists. Never vote for any Republican member or loyalist either. If no candidates for a position fit that bill: -Where write-ins are permissible, always write-in an anti-authoritarian person; -Where write-ins aren’t permissible, always vote uncommitted or leave the ballot blank. This will continuously reduce the power of all authoritarian parties in the party monopolies: Until our task is complete. Repeat strategy for all new authoritarian parties that emerge. 2 of 2.
