The US wants Venezuela’s oil because there is a massive amount of it in Venezuela and once the US gets Venezuela’s oil the US’s oil companies can establish a monopoly on oil, at least set the price for oil to a pretty large extent anyway, then the American oil companies can charge as much as they want for every barrel of oil that they sell in the international market! This is especially true once the US can steal a couple of other top oil-producing countries’ oil it would then have over half of the world’s oil reserves then the US oil companies would definitely jack up the prices of oil across the world, including in the US itself! This would mean trillions of dollars more in profits for ExxonMobile, Chevron, Connoco Phillips, Shell, Marathon, Texaco, BP, and other US and UK oil companies! This means the more the American oil companies have a monopoly on oil the more the American people would have to pay for gas at the pumps, which is definitely true for all other people across the world as well! Also, by stealing other countries’ oil the US could deprive China of the oil that it needs for its growing manufacturing industries! The US government has planned this scheme for a while now! Trump has sped up the process because he is desperate to take the American people’s attention away from the Epstein case since he is guilty in committing child sex crimes with Epstein and he also wants to make up for the economic disasters that he has created with his trade war and tariff war with the rest of the world by stealing Venezuela’s oil to help the US’s economy somewhat!
