I'm glad he referred to the right-wing-spawned genocides in Colombia as being comparable to Auschwitz. That's exactly what I thought when I read about the nightmarish campaigns of torture and genocide in Guatemala during the 1980s, also rife with Israeli and US training and equipment, which included flying Nazi surgeons in from Argentina to perform unimaginably nightmarish tortures on inhabitants of some of the over six hundred villages wiped out by the Guatemalan military and their US overseers, tortures like encasing captives in full-body casts so they couldn't escape electricity and injections (read Jennifer Harbury's "Searching for Everardo" for more on that). Some of the troops trained in these fascist torture methods then went on to train drug cartels in Mexico and elsewhere in Central America, hence the nightmarish violence experienced in Mexico today, all of it ultimately the fault of the US. When colombia had a pro-US right wing government for decades, it put a wedge between the anti-imperialist countries, notably Venezuela, from having a direct land-route corridor to the Central American governments like Nicaragua, which would have enabled an alternative economic sphere free from the US to coalesce. Even as many Latin America states began to form alternative alliances like UNASUR or gravitated to China's BRI, Colombia held out and blocked any such potential corridor for wider regional integration/cohesion between the nations. Precisely like what the rump state of I$rael does, preventing a full land route which would enable economic integration/alliance of West Asia and Africa. That's why it's such a monumental shift when Gustavo Petro came. Therefore it's crucial to support and preserve Petro and his government (same with others such as AMLO in Mexico) and I hope his government and the wider LatAm coalition of govts will take measures to ensure it so that the US doesn't play its dirty games in the region ever again. Netanyahu associates with the DC establishment. Netanyahu was the very first foreign leader to congratulate Biden on winning the 2020 election long before the actual election was decided. Whatever their relationship was before that, since then it's been in the toilet as Trump is the type to hold grudges. He has demonstrated this recently with his open criticism of Netanyahu in his failure to predict or prevent the October 7 Hamas attack. And in regards to your other remarks concerning foreign policy, the Israeli lobby influences foreign policy in DC, not the other way round. Ariel Sharon famously said so himself in front of a camera. They run DC and without their backing no one gets elected to office. This is a demonstrable fact, has been for many decades. The 1948 creation of the state of Israel is through bloodshed, deceit and injustice - a visiting of the same Fascism that caused the Holocaust by Nazi Germany, onto the Palestinians. But the God of the Bible (which contains the prophecies), Who is also the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is holy, just and righteous. Virtually all the Bible verses that I have examined concerning the second return of the Israelis did not mention the cleansing of the original inhabitants from the land, unlike the first return when the Israelites came out of Egypt. Neither did those verses foretell the creation of the Israelite political state. The only Ruler Who is to reign over the returned Israelis in the ancient land of Judah is Jesus Christ at His second coming. But at His second coming, Jesus Christ will also reign as the King of kings and Lord of lords over all on Earth and not just over Israel. There is also the sense that the "Israelis' gathered in the ancient land of Canaan are in fact the spiritual sons of Abraham i.e. the Christians. That is why in the Lord's prayer we Christians prayed: Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Therefore, although all nations and peoples under present human international law, including Israel, have the legal right to exist, no people, nation, ethnic groups, country, state or empire has a Divine right to exist. That depends on God's judgement over all the peoples. And in world history, God had relegated many nations, peoples, ethnic groups and empires (at one stage all mankind except for Noah and his family) to extinction. And the Jews, once during the days of John the Baptist, assured themselves that God will not destroy them because they have Abraham as their father i.e. ancestor and God had promised to make the descendants of Abraham into a great nation and increase its people to be as numerous as the stars of Heaven. But how did the Bible reply to this boast? Matthew 3:7b - 10: “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. 9 And do not think you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. 10 The axe is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire". So no one, not even Israel who claims a Divine right to live no matter how bad its atrocities and no matter how well it try to justify those atrocities, has a Divine right to exist or live. In fact given the State of Israel's cruelties, unbelief and atrocities, it is in danger of a Divine judgement which will wipe it from the face of the earth. And if all Jews are destroyed as a result of Divine judgement, God could raise up children for Abraham out of the very stones on the grounds of the land of Canaan. How then could Israel and the Jews be saved? Israel and the Jews could only be saved by God's grace. It is the same with every empire, nation, people, ethnic group and individual. We all live and have the hope of salvation only in the grace of the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob Whom the Bible identified as Jesus Christ.
